Delete Your Competiv Account
This page explains how you can request deletion of your Competiv account and associated data.
What gets deleted?
When you request deletion of your Competiv account, we will:
- Delete your account and login credentials
- Delete your profile information (name, avatar, etc.)
- Delete your workout history and performance data
- Delete your scores, achievements, and social data
In some cases, we may retain limited information where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes. Where retained, this data is kept only as long as necessary and is not used for any product features.
How to request account deletion
To request deletion of your Competiv account, please send an email to: support@competiv.io
For security and privacy reasons, the request must be sent from the same email address that is associated with your Competiv account. If this is not possible, we may ask you to verify your identity via a reply to that address or through other reasonable verification steps.
Please include the following information in your email:
- The email address associated with your Competiv account (must match the sender address, if possible)
- The platform you use (e.g. Android, iOS) and, if available, your user ID from the app
- A brief statement that you are requesting permanent deletion of your account and data
We may contact you at the provided email address to verify your identity or to confirm that you want to proceed with permanent deletion. Once completed, this process is irreversible.
Processing time
We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days. In some cases, it may take longer if we need to verify your identity, resolve outstanding issues (such as fraud or abuse investigations), or comply with legal obligations.
